Abstract
The regulatory landscape for Artificial Intelligence (AI) is shaping up on both sides of the Atlantic, with the U.S. Algorithmic Accountability Act and the EU AI Act among the main (proposed) legislative guideposts. This short article juxtaposes the two bills and offers some reflections on what the commonalities and differences might teach us about the future direction of AI governance.
